It is the topic of conversation for travellers all over Thailand. A Phi Phi Island tour is the most popular activity in the region. Phi Phi Islands are situated 40 km south-east of Phuket and consist of six islands. The major ones being Phi Phi Don, which hosts the bohemian town of Phi Phi Islands, and Phi Phi Leh with Maya Bay which featured in the movie "The Beach". Phi Phi Islands are famous for its limestone cliffs rising sheer out of the emerald green waters, white powdery beaches and its many coral reefs offering great diving and snorkelling. Visit Siam Ocean World and experience seven different marine environments, as you walk around the different zones of the aquarium. Located on the first and second floors of the Siam Paragon shopping centre, this is considered to be one of the largest sealife centres in all Asia, spread out over 10,000m2. You will be able to see more than just fish; there are sea-otters, seals, penguins and much, much more. The centre is divided into seven zones representing different environments and you’ll be able to discover all sorts of fascinating creatures. Krabi, the capital of southern Thailand's Krabi Province, is a resort town near the Andaman coast. It lies in an area of limestone karsts and mangrove forest. On a hilltop reached by stairs, the Tiger Cave Temple is a Buddhist site with panoramic views. Khao Kanab Nam, 2 slanting hills rising out of water, form a local landmark. Andaman Sea destinations like the Phi Phi Islands are accessible by ferry.
Bangkok, Thailand’s capital, is a large city known for ornate shrines and vibrant street life. The boat-filled Chao Phraya River feeds its network of canals, flowing past the Rattanakosin royal district, home to opulent Grand Palace and its sacred Wat Phra Kaew Temple. Nearby is Wat Pho Temple with an enormous reclining Buddha and, on the opposite shore, Wat Arun Temple with its steep steps and Khmer-style spire.
